CRU Dental Mission September 2011

CRU Dental Mission September 2011 once again visits the children in prison; experiences mud slides in the vehicle after heavy rain; and hundreds of patients are examined and pain relief and treatment offered. Thanks to volunteers and to Barbara Koffman who organised another successful mission.

May – June 2011 Dental Mission

Earlier this year Barbara Koffman, CRU’s Dental Coordinator, lead a dental team to Uganda for a two-week mission to provide pain-relief clinics to those in desperate need of oral care. With Barbara went dentists, Eric and Michelle, Donnetta a dental
nurse and Liz a dental therapist. Rhona Marshall MBE, the founder of CRU, also went with them as Barbara’s prayer partner and friend.

Dentist Bringing Smiles to Africa

Erik Ahlbom of Port Erin Dental Surgery, Isle of Man, recently completed a two -and-a-half week tour of charitable work in Uganda.

Mr Ahlbom, 53, was part of a dental outreach team organised by CRU reaching people in remote areas that otherwise would get no treatment at all.
