Earlier this year Barbara Koffman, CRU’s Dental Coordinator, lead a dental team to Uganda for a two-week mission to provide pain-relief clinics to those in desperate need of oral care. With Barbara went dentists, Eric and Michelle, Donnetta a dental
nurse and Liz a dental therapist. Rhona Marshall MBE, the founder of CRU, also went with them as Barbara’s prayer partner and friend.

Whilst visiting the dentist today I discovered one of the receptionists/dental nurses from bourne end dental had been volunteering with Dentaid.
I am minister at Cores End, Bourne End, Bucks SL8 5HZ and yesterday we had a speaker from Sightsavers at our service and a retiring collection which raised of the order of £70.00. Would it be possible for you to send a speaker to us, one Sunday in 2012, to raise awareness of the dreadful plight of these children especially in Uganda? We would of course make a donation to your work. It seems to me we take our teeth and dental health so much for granted!
